Everything you need with a short walk to the Old Town Positive: The owner was easily available and very helpful. The apartment was comfortable and well stocked with anything that we could possibly need. We were even provided with metrocards. Negative: The apartment is very hard to find for Uber drivers. We took an Uber three times and each time the driver couldn't find it without our help. The street in which the apartment was located was not very attractive, which worried us at first, but it's an extremely short walk to any place you want to go.

A lovely apartment as long as you are savvy with your mobile phone and like using Apps. Positive: Very convenient location. A beautiful and comfortable apartment. Just a shame about the negative stuff(see below) Highly stressful accessing the flat and parking our vehicle, but we had a great day in Bilbao, which is far more interesting than you may think. We used VoiceMap for an excellent audio-tour. Negative: The worse access system I have ever encountered on Booking.com. It was very complicated with multiple instructions sent on whatsapp and I had to download an app to access an online 'key' to get in (amongst other things) with lots of mandatory cookies I could not decline. All this with a phone that was dying and highly unreliable. The whatsapp person we communicated with was as helpful as they could possibly be, given their remit from their home-owner but they were not able to talk to me. Further, after booking a non-refundable night, I was informed I may not be able to get my car into the carpark (which was why we booked that particular apartment in the first place) and that there was nowhere to store our electric bikes. I would suggest all this information is available on Booking.com BEFORE making a booking. eg height restrictions etc. Also the wifi code supplied was wrong but whatsapp-man sorted that for us. As it turned out, our car got in with ease and there was plenty of room to store our bikes beside our vehicle so all my anxiety and irritation was needless. I would have given a 9/10 score if access and parking had not been an issue.
